New! The Filter3 basket has finally arrived!

I’m pleased to announce my long-awaited Filter3 basket is now available. The basket is compatible with the Decent Espresso machine and produces flawless filter-coffee extractions at the touch of a button.

Each basket comes with 100 bespoke filters. The filter paper is cut from the same paper as the NextLevel Pulsar filters. This filter paper offers a unique combination of low flow resistance and high fines-carrying capacity. Please note that the vast majority of espresso-basket paper filters will not work well with Filter3.

The filter3 basket will fit all 58mm espresso machines, but will only produce great filter coffee if the machine is capable of delivering very low flow rates, such as 2 ml/s.  Please only purchase this basket if you have such a machine.

Each basket comes with 100 filters.

NOTE: that some baskets will have minor blemishes or scratches. These are cosmetic and will not affect performance. Please do not buy the basket if these might be a problem for you. No refunds will be given on account of minor scratches.
